Anika is extremely passionate about energy justice, climate justice and environmental justice across sustainability issues. Her specific interests include Just Transition efforts, supply side fossil fuel policy, international climate change policy/law and energy policy. She firmly believes in advocating for community led and community participation based sustainability solutions.
She has an LLM in International Environment and Climate Change Law from the University of Edinburgh. Prior to this, she completed a BSc (Honours) in Sustainable Development from the University of St-Andrews.
Anika's academic background has been inspired by her real life experiences living in climate vulnerable countries such as India, Kenya, Myanmar and Indonesia. She brings her global multi-disciplinary background and skills to her work at WesterHayes Impact Advisory.
In her spare time, Anika enjoys long distance running, reading, hiking, nature walks and spending time with any cat she can come across.
